ARTHUR is a play based on the Arthurian legend, a combination of the Dark Ages and the present. Arthur as a lad pulls the sword from the stone purely by accident and has no idea what to do next. Everyone tries to influence him. His mother, whose behaviour is totally inappropriate for a royal person, his wife, the Guinivere, the dominatrix, the knights, Lancelot the philanderer, Galahad the pure and chaste, Gawain the heavy drinking footballer, Kay the atry one and Bedevere, the cross dresser aren't much help. Marlena, the wizard uses her waning magical powers chiefly for her own gain and the villain Modred becomes Arthur's nemesis.Cast 6M, 8F, I boy.
